I've gotten into an accident with my fleet vehicle. What do I do?

The first and most important step is to ensure that everyone involved in the accident is safe. If anyone is injured, call 911 immediately. If it is safe to do so, move the vehicles to the side of the road to prevent further accidents. Make sure you move to a safe spot away from traffic and accident debris.

In most jurisdictions, you will be required to call and report the accident to the police. Please make a note of the report number or take a photo if the police provides you with one on-scene.

Next, if you are enrolled in an Accident Management service, you should call the number provided in the driver app or the driver packet in your fleet vehicle. If Inspiration is your Fleet Manager, you will call the Inspiration toll-free contact center number. You will be provided with an option to connect directly with an Accident Claims agent who will take you through what you need to do. ​

Finally, notify your fleet administrator of the accident as well as the reports you have made and the information you have collected.
